The Nikon 35mm f/2 AF lens is a standard wide angle lens made way back in the film era. This lens promises fast aperture and sharp glass for full frame user. The problem with such a lens is that it might not keep up with the current DSLR sensor, which means it will not produce a great image quality just because the sensor is different.
